Extracting and purifying the qualities of nature to enable improvements in diet, nutrition and health is the specific field of expertise of drt nutraceutics. The company develops ingredients that have a well-deserved reputation for high quality and purity, for dietary supplements, functional foods and cosmetics.

Between 1986 and 1991, DRT has cooperated with the CEP and SCERPA, companies founded by a Professor and his partners, for the production at the industrial scale of procyanidins. drt nutraceutics now produces and markets its own OPC, oligopin®, a french maritime pine bark extract and vitaflavan®, a white grape seed extract. The purity of these products and their strict chemical characterisation guarantee a high content of short oligomers of catechine and epicatechine that ensure the beneficial effects of OPC as described by a Professor, and the bioavailability of the product.

drt nutraceutics has produced phytosterols for more than 40 years. phytopin®, a pine phytosterol, has received the agreement of the European Commission to be used in functional foods and dietary supplements.
